Rotter Hunters are outcasts of society; past criminals, people that are born “different”, ect. They are seen to have no place in the world, so the government hires them to do their dirty work: kill all rotters, carriers, and mutants. This all started when a lab experiment went wrong and started to rapidly spread. The story Rotter follows the lives of eight of these hunters; Breaker, Horus, Brexit, Kayton, Triston, Kane, Ash, and Crutch. They make up Rotter H group 916A, with Breaker as their captain after a hunting accident killed their old captain, Ryker. Each hunter has their own personal problems that are a result of different childhood traumas and accidents. Most of these hunters decided to join the Rotter way of life because they were past criminals, or just to leave their old lives behind and have a fresh new start. But what happens when you’re shunned by society because of your way of life? Because of your past? And what happens when your captain has a bounty on their head, wanted dead or alive, because of their conditions they were born with? 

Decker Wyatt, the Greatest Monster Hunter of America, faces constant discrimination from his family due to his unique eye color, making him “less than” in his father’s eyes. But when a monstrous creature slaughters his loved ones, Wyatt embarks on a revenge-fueled quest to uncover the creature's origin. Joined by Valentine Calvert and the notorious outlaw Rylee Powers, they journey across America in search of the monster's creator. But will Wyatt's discoveries bring him satisfaction, or will they drive a wedge between him and his newfound friends?
