A life full of a little love and a lot of heartache with some violence in-between, follow Breaker and their boys path to success or destruction.
Horus was born into a family of serial killers, following in the footsteps of all the men before him. After the "King of the Dead" had finally been caught, he had been given a choice; either face the death penalty or become a rotter hunter. With his excellent use of a gun, Horus became an amazing Rotter hunter. Befriending Breaker after a "happy accident", Horus finds a family that he'd fight to the death for, especially if they want to stay alive in an apocalypse.
Ash is the younger Rigg twin, but the smarter and more level headed of the brothers... usually. After being held in the government hospital "Correction" for the first fifteen years of his life for being mentally ill, he and his brother set the building aflame. After one unfortunate accident after another, Ash and his brother ended up as Rotter hunters. Ash and his brother were one of the first Rotter hunter children, picking on the boys in their early days. Ash would do anything for the people he loves, which would be tested and stretched to its limits.
Crutch is the older Rigg twin, not as smart and has a fiery personality. After burning down "Correction", Crutch was turned into a cyborg to be able to survive the injuries he had sustained. With a tough outside and a soft inside for only his brother, Crutch is the main muscle of the group, as well as for supplying all sorts of weapons. Even if he is hard to get along with, Crutch is a great person to know if he opens up to you. His protective personality and weapons will be torn apart as he tries to survive and protect the people that mean the most to him.
Triston's parents were tragically taken from him in a life altering car crash. The fire departments inability to show up in time and the cars awful safety system caused Triston to walk down two paths at once. He became an arsonist firefighter, to get back at the fire department for what they had taken from him, and a mechanic, to make better, safer cars. Triston payed for his crimes by becoming a Rotter hunter. He was able to form deep connections with all of his teammates, who love him despite his medical condition, Racidate67. Will Triston's big brother attitude keep the group together or only aid in tearing them apart?
Kane and his mother were run aways, running away from an abusive man that called himself "Dad". Kane and his mother wound up in the protective arms of the Rotter hunters, but even they couldn't save Kane, who was brutally beat by his father, his jaw and eyes ripped out. Since then Kane had always been weary of his surroundings, and tried to help others becoming a medic. But how does one help his friends when they're dying in his arms, and how could his friends possibly ever help him if they couldn't save him the first time? The tug of war of caring and cared for is what will really test Kane and his patience till the unavoidable end.
Bennett was never wanted by his mother, who solved all her issues with him by selling him to "Correction" for experimentation when he was only five years old. This messed up Bennett in many ways, with the many side affects of the experiments but the trauma as well; he feels as though he is not wanted and that his existence means nothing. Being adopted by a Rotter hunter, Bennett tries to adapt to a more normal life. He will have to face his negative thoughts of not being wanted again and again until his teammates prove that he is wrong, or that he has been right his entire life.
